• SP (Shock Pack) shock absorbing lanyards are made of “tearing straps” woven in such a way that they can tear under the effect of a load. This tearing absorbs a large part of the downward force during the fall, which helps limit injuries. These straps are folded and shrink-wrapped into a compact 2.5 x 5 x 15 (1 x 2 x 6 in.) package, sewn into the lanyard next to the connector.
