Comfortable fall arrest, work positioning and suspension harness
The AVAO BOD fall arrest, work positioning and suspension harness has been designed to promote comfort in all situations. The semi-rigid and wide waistband and thigh loops provide excellent support. The lightweight, breathable construction provides very good ventilation. The shoulder straps have a system for storing the connectors of the fall arrest lanyards and keeping them within reach. Self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles at the back of the harness, between the belt and the leg loops, allow short adjustment when using the dorsal attachment point. The harness also makes it easier to carry and organize work tools with several equipment loops and loops for installing CARITOOL tool holders and TOOLBAG tool holder pouches. The harness includes a fall indicator on the dorsal attachment point and closes with a TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking carabiner. It is certified according to North American and European standards. AVAO BOD has thigh loops with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles.
Description
- Comfortable throughout the work phases:
- semi-rigid and wide belt and thigh loops for excellent support. The lightweight, breathable construction provides very good ventilation,
- foam straps, placed away from the neck, to limit friction. In the event of a load on the belt, they take up this load and distribute it over the shoulders.
- Practical settings:
- belt, shoulder straps and thigh loops equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles for quick and easy adjustment,
- storage system for the MGO connectors of the fall arrest lanyards, on each strap, allowing the user not to be bothered by the lanyard and to keep the connectors within reach. In the event of a fall, this system allows the deployment of the absorber by releasing the MGO connectors,
- side attachment points that can be folded down to prevent them from being accidentally snagged when not in use,
- DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles at the back of the harness, between the belt and the thigh loops, allowing adjustment for use on the dorsal attachment point. In the event of a fall at this point, a short adjustment allows you to put the weight back on the thigh loops and thus remain more comfortably suspended in the harness while waiting for help.
- Makes it easier to carry and organize work tools:
- six pre-formed equipment holders with protective sheath,
- two loops for CARITOOL tool holders,
- four loops for TOOLBAG tool holder pouch.
- International version incorporating a fall indicator: a red strap appears following a fall on the dorsal attachment point, meaning that the harness must be scrapped.
