Self-braking descender with anti-panic function for rescue
The I'D L self-braking descender is mainly intended for rescue. It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the descent. The integrated anti-panic function and anti-error catch-up limit the risk of accidents due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows users to position themselves without having to manipulate the handle or attach the device. Once locked, the rope can be taken without having to manipulate the handle. The safety barrier allows the rope to be installed while leaving the device connected to the harness. I'D L is compatible with ropes from 12.5 to 13 mm and allows the handling of loads up to 280 kg.

• Easy to use :
- safety barrier on the mobile flange allowing easy installation of the rope while the device remains connected to the harness
- easy installation of the rope, thanks to the rope guide and markings
- error-proof catch to reduce the risk of accident due to installation of the device on the rope
- ergonomic handle allowing you to release the rope and comfortably control the descent. Two possible descent modes: on the side plate or in the V-shaped friction channel
- the anti-panic function automatically stops the descent if the user pulls too hard on the handle
- allows smooth movement on inclined or horizontal terrain
- The AUTO-LOCK system allows the user to position themselves without having to manipulate the handle or attach the device: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope automatically locks in the device. The automatic return system on the handle limits the risk of accidental snagging of the device
- the handle automatically switches to the stowed position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of accidental snagging when the descender is worn on the harness
• Versatile :
- once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to manipulate the handle, to carry out reversible hauling or for easy short ascents for example - the
cam can be manipulated to easily reel out slack or to secure a lead using climbing techniques
- the mobile flange locks with a screw, allowing the I'D L to be integrated into emergency kits
- an auxiliary brake, open or closed, can be added to improve descent control depending on the weight and diameter of the rope
• The stainless steel wear plate improves durability by reinforcing the friction zone of the rope
